Birthday Lunch – First Thursday at area restaurants
Gather and Discover Meeting – Second Monday 6-9pm in Eberhardt Room (other locations may be announced)
Environmental Committee Meetings – First Wednesday at 9:30am in CA Atrium Palm Room (near Gazebo bandstand)
General Meeting – Third Thursday at 11:30am in Community Hall
Bunco Game – Fourth Wednesday at 9:30am in CA Atrium Sandpiper Room. All are welcome, and you don’t have to be a GFWC Sun City Center Woman’s Club member. The cost is $5.00 which is used for prizes.

General Meeting October 15, 2026
Making New Friends – invite a friend to the meeting. Lt. Annie Hunter, a retired Fire Medic will be the speaker. Our cookout is back so we will enjoy a BBQ lunch – just $10.
Attire: Yellow, red and black to support our local fire station’s colors
Menu: BBQ – Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Tossed Salad and Dressings, Condiments, Cake and Ice Cream, Beverage Station. Reservations must be made by Sunday evening, October 11th, email to suncitywomansclub@gmail.com. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact Hospitality before the Sunday midnight deadline to verify that your reservation was received.
Health and Wellness Voluntary Donations: Monetary donations will be accepted to provide scholarship money for firefighters to attend Florida State Fire School in Ocala. The cost per student for tuition and equipment is $30,000.
Holidays will be here soon – don’t forget to select an “Adopt a Sassy Senior” bell name tag to purchase holiday gift for a senior living at assisted living and memory care facilities – return gifts at November general meeting to be distributed in December.

Civic Engagement – Wreath Laying December 19
We will be laying four wreaths at the Ruskin Memorial Cemetery from 10-12. More information in November Newsletter. We are looking for volunteers to place wreaths. Four names will be displayed on a digital wall Veterans who will be honored from our club.
