Arts and Culture 2022 – 2023
In addition to making heart and doggie pillows, we wrote Christmas cards to deployed military personnel. We took a field trip to the Henry B. Plant Museum in Tampa and ate lunch in the student cafeteria at University of Tampa.

Environment 2022 – 2023
One of the collections that this committee performs throughout the year is the collection of new or gently used shoes to be sent to Soles for Souls. Also collected for local charities are clean egg cartons for Security Patrol’s donation to the food pantry, and clean aluminum pop tabs from soda cans and other canned goods for a children hospital.

Fundraising 2022 – 2023
Two fundraisers were held this year – Bingo in the fall at Community Hall and a Comedy Show featuring Juanita Lolita in the spring at the Florida Room in the SCCCA Atrium. Both were lots of fun and very successful – these funds are used to support charities and non-profit organizations in the local community.

Health and Wellness 2022 – 2023
Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Spring were celebrated with residents of the local care facilities. We wrote Christmas cards, made Valentine wreaths and cards, and many variations of the Flower Power decoration for Spring.
